The Transformers Robot In 2014
Next up in our avalanche of Transformers Age of Extinction Merchandise posting, we have a look at the mainline “Robots in Disguise” release for Age of Extinction. I tried to be slightly completist in the first 3 movie toy lines so I bought all the fast action battlers from tf1 and tf2. Felt bad when fast action battlers got replaced by the much smaller cyberverse legion/commander in tf3. In tf1, Frenzy was available only as a fast action battler. In tf2, less characters were done as Fast Action Battlers. Looks like AOE is serious again with the similar Power Battlers with 15 figures in 2014.
If they had done fast action battlers for TF3, we could've gotten larger versions of Hatchet and Crowbar instead of Commander size Hatchet and Legion size Crowbar, and maybe even more larger figures like soundwave, wheeljack and the red mirage. The TF3 toy line fizzled out fast with some later releases ended up being in asia only so hopefully, AOE will do better and we can get toy versions of all of the movie characters. ZapRowsdower How old are you, girls? Cause boners typically come from the crotch area, NOT your stomach. I don't mind the horseplay, but you guys are REALLY stretching the innuendo if you see a chest-bursting tail as penis (no offense, and I'm not meaning to single out any of you who make subsequently awful penis jokes) Thanks for the video link!
Transformers: Age of Extinction is a 2014 American science fiction action film based on the Transformers. Its line of transforming robot toys was highly sought. Hasbro Studios’ upcoming animated series “Transformers: Robots in Disguise” has a new home — actually the “Transformers” franchise’s first TV home — Cartoon Network.
Looks much different in video than picture. I'd be willing to pick some of these up at discount or clearance. Hopefully we can see some appear at discounters by year's end, cause I'm not sure how much they expect us to pay for some of these. I got some bad news for ya, I am normally a big proponent for proper decorum, but. There are just some things that go way too far. And that was one of them. Especially when you take a few things into account.
Actually I guess that's all you really need to say. JDK After seeing pixeldan's interview demonstrating some of this stuff I'm a lot more interested.
May not buy much or any of it because the prices are a little exorbitant for a young kids' toy but I do want to see more of the transformations and maybe get one in hand. Yeah, after seeing them in action I must admit as a kids' toy they look pretty cool, and I totally get why they're doing them. I think it's really easy for us to forget that the world's a different place from when we were kids and everything's faster and more immediate, and whether we like it or not, it's something that all companies have to cater for. As a kid playing with the figures telling a story etc. Which is what I would've done when I was 7, 8, 9, then something that converts in 2 or 3 easy steps or has an action feature would be pretty fun actually.
I think we forget that a lot of the figures we grew up with had very little accuracy to what we saw on screen or in comics (especially in G1) but we didn't let that stop us having fun, and I think the ones that I spent the most time playing with were the ones that I didn't have to faff around with too much, like the combiner limbs and mini bots. I'm glad we've got the Generations figures, because they're great things to display, but I think the new Robots in Disguise lines may surprise us, maybe not all of them, but with multiple lines it seems that Hasbro are testing the market to see what works and which of them to fully invest in for the later series. Anguirus ok that Grimlock is impressive. August though? Not exactly striking when the iron is hot.

Hasbro usually introduces a portion of their new pricepoints during the Spring/Summer, then rolls out additional assortments after stores begin doing their pre-holiday resets (August/Septemberish). More recent examples in the past were the Prime Cyberverse vehicles and the Bot Shots Ultimate Battle sets.
I think its less 'not releasing during the movie' and more of 'retailers want more product closer to shopping season'.
Ricky Church reviews: The Idw Collection Phase Two – Volume 6 While the film franchise has struggled in the way of audience and critical reception and treating its characters like actual characters, Idw has had plenty of success over the years with its handling of the franchise in the comic medium. For the last few years, the comics have been very consistent with strong storytelling and characterization from writers and, each telling intertwining stories in: More Than Meets The Eye and. In Idw’s newest collection of stories from both titles,: The Idw Collection Phase Two – Volume 6 collects the epic crossover between both series, Dark Cybertron, and the miniseries Windblade, introducing newest female transformer to the franchise. Image Source: AMC King Ezekiel might be thisclose to renouncing his throne on, thanks to his recent battle blunder and the devastating loss of his four-legged sidekick, but the man who portrays him, is well on his way to the top - even if he doesn't sport his character's signature dreadlocks in real life. Before he became the tiger-taming, self-proclaimed monarch who just loves to smile, Payton was steadily working his way up within the movie, TV show, and video game circuits for more than a decade. So, if you're wondering why the 'cool dude' who's commanded such fealty from his tiny community seems so familiar on, here's where you may have seen, or heard, him before (and no, it probably wasn't at the zoo). Ricky Church review Transformers: Till All Are One #7 As Windblade and her team fight their way through Elita-1’s Titan, Carcer, they face opposition at every turn to stop them from awakening the sleeping giant and they soon find out why! Transformers: Till All Are One #7 was an exciting and action-packed instalment of the title. Even though the focus was heavily on the action, the issue had a lot going on in it both story-wise and artistically. It didn’t feel like there was too much was crammed in the story. The conflict in Till All Are One was presented well, making this a fun and great Transformers comic. ’s makes good use of plotting in this issue, giving every character a task and moment to shine.
