Updating your Apple device to iOS 11? 2009 acura tl problems. Some of your older apps and games may no longer work - read on for more information! Early versions of Apple devices used 32 bit chips, but later devices used more powerful 64 bit hardware (which can process or move twice as much data in one clock 'tick'). Developers could write their software to run on this in either 32 bit or 64 bit modes, and so to move the software on and keep improving the apps on the store, Apple required develope.
Rs to include 64-bit versions of their apps from mid 2015 onwards. Many developers - including Astraware - have updated their apps to include 64 bit versions (almost all of the most popular apps have been done for quite a while!) and Apple's latest version of the iOS software is finally making it so that the software has to run in 64-bit mode. Any app which hasn't been updated to support this will no longer run on the latest iOS! This isn't a huge surprise - they've included warnings when running older apps for the last 6 months. Here at Astraware we do try to update our most actively used apps quite frequently, so all of our Daily Puzzle games have been updates already - Astraware Crosswords, Kriss Kross, Number Cross, Sudoku, Word Search, Code Words, Acrostic and Wordoku.
We've also updated Astraware Casino HD and Solitaire. Right now we're working on Astraware Mahjong (the last of our games which has plenty of regular players), to include compatibility for iOS 11, so if you are still playing this on your iPhone or iPad, you might want to give us a little while longer to finish this and have it approve by Apple! We're hoping to have this through and available by the end of October.
There are a few more of our older titles which we withdrew from the store some years back, and don't have 64-bit versions. If you still have these on your device ( for instance, Crazy Daisy, Astraware BoardGames ), they too won't work if you update to iOS 11. We might come back to these one day, but we've a whole whiteboard list of games to create first. If you are getting the message that one of your apps is no longer compatible, it's worth checking the App Store in case there's an update waiting for you, and even if not - perhaps contact the developers to see if they might be updating soon (or at least register interest in case they do!). In perfect timing, we've just found out that the latest iOS updates mean that Haunted, our Halloween-themed puzzle game, isn't running on iPhones and iPads which have been updated. Spooky coincidence to save you from puzzley fright over Halloween?

We're hoping to get an update through as soon as possible, but it'll be after the end of the month before it's approved. Fans - we certainly haven't forgotten you! We're currently working on that to bring it up to speed on iOS as well. Howard & David.
